Rostov State Musical Theatre

The leading musical theater of the south of Russia, located in the center of Rostov-on-Don. It is a unique cultural institution that combines opera, ballet, operetta, musicals and musical and dramatic performances.

The musical Theater was opened in 1999, although the idea of creating a full-fledged musical theater in Rostov appeared back in Soviet times.

The theater building is built in a modern style with neoclassical elements. The large glass arch of the main entrance attracts special attention, and in the evening the building is beautifully illuminated. Inside there is a spacious foyer, a large auditorium with excellent acoustics and modern technical equipment.

The building itself is one of the most unusual architectural structures in the city. It is designed in the form of a white grand piano, which symbolizes its musical purpose.
